A COMMUNITY workshop will be held on Saturday on the future of Mossfiel Reserve.
The workshop will outline the objectives of the proposed master plan for the reserve and include a discussion on the issues and opportunities affecting the reserve's future.
Wyndham Council's recreation planning co-ordinator Ken Chalmers said community input was crucial.
"Once the plan has been created, it will be used to guide any future redevelopment and upgrades to the reserve.
"Residents of various ages use Mossfiel Reserve for a wide variety of sports and leisure activities.
"Because the master plan will be used over the long term, it's important that we get it right and hear views from a wide cross-section of the community."
Facilities at the Hoppers Crossing reserve include sporting ovals, playground, community hall, skate park, cricket nets, a kindergarten and a child and maternal health service.
It's home to tennis, netball, rugby, cricket, skate boarding, children's services, a collectable vehicle club and an Apex club.
The workshop will be held at Mossfiel Hall in Heaths Road, Hoppers Crossing, 10am-noon.
